Boy Scout Troop 5 and Cub Scout Pack 86 are once again teaming up to offer affordable Christmas tree pickup and disposal service to Acton residents.

This fundraiser helps citizens avoid the mess and inconvenience of tree disposal and helps the Scouts defray the expense of equipment, camp fees, and awards. Now in its seventh year, this event is a great opportunity to show your support for building character in the young leaders of tomorrow.

Our pickup dates for 2009 are January 3 and January 10. We begin picking up trees at 8am sharp. The suggested donation is $10 per tree.
